Church at Rupagan

The Church at Rupagan was started in December 2011 as a church plant from its mother Church  in Kolambugan.  Ms. Teresa Bolodo was sent by the mother church to serve as Pastor and missionary to the congregation at Rupagan.  This thriving body of believers is committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and meets together each Sunday at  2:00pm – 4:00pm.  Through praise and worship, teaching, preaching, discipleship, and evangelism, this local body of believers continues to grow in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and seeks to win all its city to Jesus Christ.

Rupagan is one of the barangays which are in the outlying area of Municipality Bacolod.
The Municipality Bacolod with a population of about 19,872 and its 16 barangays belong to the partly urban areas in the Philippines.  While some of the barangays developed modern urban structures, some others, especially those which are seated in the outlying areas, remained rural.  By the end of 2007 Rupagan had 1,563 residents.
